These forged sculptures are relics of an inward pilgrimage — artifacts from a lifelong journey through beauty, shadow and mystery.

About the Art
The forge is all fire and violence, the inner space all stillness and silence.
This is what I attend to: moving with the stillness, listening to the silence.
May I not insist, but observe; not force outcomes, but make way for inner forms.
I cannot touch white-hot iron, nor grasp the mystery of life; not pressing for answers, may I remain present to my unknowing.
By not interfering, may I witness the intangible give spirit to the tangible, and the tangible give body to the intangible.
May my work become a union between heaven and earth, a microcosm — art.
The work is mine and not mine. Like me, it belongs to the stillness, the silence, the source.

About Evan Wilson
Evan Wilson is a metal artist specializing in forged and chased iron, bronze and copper.
In 2014, following three years of non-profit service in rural Afghanistan, Evan founded a non-profit blacksmithing shop offering dignified income opportunities to homeless men and women at Community First! Village, serving there until 2020.
He now works with discerning collectors to embody their visions in meticulously hand-finished metalworks. Whether for private collections, corporate grounds, or liturgical spaces, Evan has materialized the dreams of a broad range of patrons. He values working with collectors who cherish hand-made, heirloom-quality, one-of-a-kind artwork in wrought metals built to bring depth and presence for generations.
Evan’s studio is located in Spicewood, Texas, where he lives with his wife and two sons. For more information, or to express interest in commissioning a work of art, please visit Commissions & Contact.

Notes from Collectors
“Evan’s work isn’t just art — it’s a testament to the sacredness of the stories we carry. His sculptures invite us to pause, reflect, and see the divine in the depths of our human experience.”
— Alan Graham, CEO & Founder of Mobile Loaves & Fishes
“Evan delved deep into reflection for the inspiration that was required to create a final powerful, expressive, and evocative work of art. The heat, pressure, and hammering process of his forging of art is analogous to the blood, sweat, and tears he devotes to his creative process, and this ‘forged’ a relationship between us which we value as much as his final sculpture.”
— Eduardo & Cristela Flores
“The world-class quality of Evan's work speaks for itself to anyone who has seen it.”
— Fr Zac Koons, St Mark’s Episcopal Church
“Evan came to our home, measured our space and worked with our personality and ideas to create something unique and marvelous out of iron, copper and bronze. Each time I show these pieces to others and explain how they came to be, I find myself falling in love with the works all over again as though they were new.”
— Annie Flores
“A blacksmith worthy of the fire.”
— Joe Pehoski
